Bianca Belair Breaks Silence On WWE Hiatus
Bianca Belair has opened up about why she’s been missing from WWE TV.
The EST of WWE was last seen on the August 18th episode of SmackDown where an attack by Damage CTRL looked to write her off of TV for the foreseeable future. However, it is unknown exactly when fans should expect to see Belair back inside a WWE ring.
Fightful Select reported that Belair could be out for as little as under a month or as long as three months, with creative accounting for this time away. It should also be noted that the knee injury that was sustained to Belair on TV is just in storyline and not the reason behind the lengthy absence.
The report concluded by praising the former Women’s Champion for her extensive media and community appearances that she took part in while holding the title, with the schedule being described as “insane.”
Bianca Belair explains WWE absence
Speaking to Metro, Belair confirmed that her knee injury was just part of the show by explaining what’s really kept her away:
“Right now, it was just some self-care. We did some things with us personally that I’m so excited about, it has to do with the future. I’m trying to write a children’s book as well.”
Bianca Belair and her husband Montez Ford were spotted in New York to help WWE celebrate the completion of its takeover by Endeavor and its merger with UFC as a result.
