Shocking Betrayal Leads To AEW Dynasty Title Match

Undisputed Kingdom AEW

A heart-breaking betrayal from one AEW star has led to yet another title match taking place at Dynasty on April 21st.

Kyle O’Reilly returned to AEW for the first time in almost two years at Revolution where he came face-to-face with his old friend and partner Roderick Strong.

Strong won the AEW International Title at the event from Orange Cassidy and although O’Reilly and Strong embraced, Kyle O’Reilly turned down the chance to join him in the Undisputed Kingdom although things remained friendly between the two stars.

Roderick Strong Turns On AEW Ally

At Battle of the Belts X, Roderick Strong defeated Rocky Romero in a title eliminator and after the bout, O’Reilly emerged to congratulate his friend. Kyle O’Reilly then attempted to help Romero to his feet but the Undisputed Kingdom swarmed attacking him.

Kyle O’Reilly tried to put a stop to the attack but was greeted with a knee to the face courtesy of Roderick Strong. Shortly after, the announcement was made that O’Reilly would challenge Strong for his International Title at Dynasty.
