Beloved WWE Star Teases Heel Turn
A top WWE star showed no sympathy towards another wrestler who recently was attacked by former allies.
Bayley had one of the biggest wins of her WWE career when she won the Women’s Royal Rumble match for the first time. Since then, she was turned on by Damage CTRL’s WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY along with Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka & Kairi Sane.
It appeared that Dakota Kai was still loyal to Bayley until she turned on her as well on the March 1st Smackdown.
On WWE SmackDown in Dallas, Bayley did a sitdown interview with Kayla Braxton where Bayley wondered if her friends actually believed in her or did they just use her? Bayley admitted she was trying to get to the top, but she did those things for IYO and Dakota while saying she didn’t care about who she hurt. Bayley said it all backfired and now she’s all alone. Bayley said she can adapt, so she’ll do everything she can to break them.
That led to Naomi being shown backstage watching what Bayley was saying. Bianca Belair, who wrestled Bayley many times in the last two years, said that Bayley did this to herself. Meanwhile, Naomi was sympathetic to Bayley because Naomi knows what it’s like when a group falls apart.
Belair was adamant about the point she was making. Belair said that Naomi didn’t see the mess that Bayley created because Naomi was gone. Belair made it clear that Bayley had to lie in the bed that she made.
The comments from Belair made some fans believe that it could be the start of a heel turn for one of the company’s most popular stars. What Belair said was similar to things that Drew McIntyre said before he officially turned heel at the end of 2023.
What Belair said also could be justified since she did get attacked by Bayley and Damage CTRL a lot since they group officially formed in the summer of 2022 at a time when Belair was their main rival.
Bianca Belair Likely To Be Featured At WWE WrestleMania 40
There are currently two women’s matches that are official for WrestleMania 40. One of them will see Royal Rumble winner Bayley challenge WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY while the other will see Elimination Chamber winner Becky Lynch face off against Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
Where does Bianca Belair fit in? That’s not known right now, but she is still being advertised heavily for WWE’s biggest show of the year. It would be a surprise if Belair was somehow left off the card.
Does @itsBayleyWWE deserve sympathy from @TheTrinity_Fatu or is @BiancaBelairWWE right when she says Bayley had this coming after everything #DamageCTRL did to the WWE locker room? 🤔#SmackDownpic.twitter.com/v2Ly3nAbjI
