Becky Lynch Gets Very Unlikely WWE Title Challenger

Becky Lynch accidentally lost to Maxxine Dupri in a surprising upset on the October 6, 2025, episode of WWE Monday Night Raw in a non-title match.

The Man’s disdain for Dupri was clear during the match. She saw the Alpha Academy member as an unproven, inexperienced competitor and openly belittled her throughout the bout. But Dupri kept fighting even when it looked impossible, and fortunately, luck was on her side that night.

In the closing moments, Becky Lynch went outside to trash-talk while standing on top of the announce table. In doing so, she forgot about the referee’s countdown and got herself disqualified for not making it to the ring on time. As a result, Dupri was named the winner of the match via countout.

Maxxine Dupri Will Challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Champion on WWE RAW 10/20

This week on RAW, Dupri had an interview with Cathy Kelly, where she addressed her match with Lynch last week. She not only called it the biggest match of her life but also regarded it as the biggest win of her career.

She then announced that she will challenge the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion for her title next week on RAW, which will be held in her hometown at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, on October 20, 2025.
