Becky Lynch Didn’t Enjoy WWE Story That Vince McMahon Pushed

Becky Lynch WWE

Becky Lynch didn’t like it when her personal life was used in a WWE storyline.

It was in early 2019 when it became known that Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were a couple. The WWE legends eventually got married and had a daughter named Roux.

When they were dating, they were two of the biggest babyface stars on the Raw brand.

By the time it got to summer, former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon felt like it was time to push the couple together on television. This led to a summer feud for Rollins as the Universal Champion with Baron Corbin and Lynch as the Raw Women’s Champion feuding with Lacey Evans.

At Extreme Rules 2019, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins teamed up in the main event of the show to beat Corbin & Evans in a match where both titles were on the line. After the match, Brock Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank on Rollins and left with the Universal Title.

Becky Lynch Thought On-Screen Story With Seth Rollins Was Bad

If it was up to Becky Lynch, the pairing of Rollins and her as an on-screen couple wouldn’t have happened. During her recent interview at the Vulture Festival, Becky Lynch thought it didn’t go well.

“Wrestling relationships can get messy. I’d never been in a relationship that hadn’t broken up, and neither had he. It’s one of those things, especially when you’re climbing to the top, and you don’t want anything to take the wheels off the car. We weren’t sure if we would come forward with it. Then if we came forward with it, then surely Vince would want us in a storyline. He did, and it was bad.”

As for her future, Becky Lynch hinted at the Vulture Festival that she could be back in WWE some day because she didn’t like how her last run ended.
