Becky Lynch Reveals WWE Dream Team, Only One Woman Makes The Cut
Becky Lynch chose one of her former WWE rivals to be part of her WarGames team.
The Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, who is also a former 7-time WWE Women’s World Champion, was a guest on the popular Cody Rhodes “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast.
It was an interesting discussion between the two future WWE Hall of Famers who have both headlined WrestleMania in their careers.
During the episode, Cody Rhodes asked Becky Lynch to pick a WarGames team of allies as part of her Dream Team of sorts. Lynch was told she could have four tag team partners. Of course, Lynch picked her husband, Seth Rollins, to be a part of it.
“Colby (Seth Rollins), right? Colby is one. Kevin (Owens) and Rami (Sami Zayn) are two and three.”
As Lynch explained, she is very close to Kevin and Sami.
“Like I’ve known those boys since 2006.”
When choosing a female partner, Lynch had to give it a lot of thought. When Cody suggested her mom, Becky said no because her mom is too nice. Lynch did manage to come up with a name, and it’s a woman she had many big matches with.
“I might throw Bianca (Belair) in there. Bianca is incredible.”
Cody Rhodes complimented Becky on being a great team player, but also noted that you need someone who can lose, and that’s not a team that loses often.
Lynch and Belair have had many big matches, including at WrestleMania and SummerSlam, with Lynch in the heel role, while Belair ultimately won the feud. Many fans recall their rivalry fondly because of how entertaining it was.
Becky Lynch Wants To Grow Her Family
The WWE power couple, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, have a daughter named Roux together, and she’ll be five years old in December. The couple often brings her on the road with them and they film videos with her for fans to enjoy.
On the subject of having more children, Becky Lynch told Cody Rhodes that she is interested in having more, and her daughter wants a sibling too.
I love that my daughter is always, oh god, she’s always asking for a little brother. She wants a little brother. You know, so that’s one of those things. You’re like, “Oh, I’m really loving wrestling. I’m loving the acting roles that I’m getting.” Kind of feel like momentum is on my side and eventually, you know, I would love to have another one. We gotta kind of figure that out. And what, you know, she said, it was like the worst thing she could possibly say to me. She’s like, “When you’re done working, when you make enough money, then can I have my little brother?”
After Naomi announced that she is pregnant and will be giving up the Women’s World Title on Raw, Becky Lynch had a likely sarcastic comment about how irresponsible it was, which is funny because Lynch did it when she was pregnant with Roux while holding a championship.
