Becky Lynch Mentions WrestleMania Amid WWE Absence

Becky Lynch has WrestleMania on her mind while WWE fans wonder when she might return.

The last time Becky Lynch appeared on WWE television was when she lost to Liv Morgan on the May 27, 2024, edition of Raw. Days later, Lynch’s WWE contract expired and she was officially on a hiatus from the company.

It was reported in January that Becky Lynch has agreed to a new WWE contract, which led to a lot of fans thinking she might be in the Women’s Royal Rumble. That didn’t happen and Lynch has yet to return to the company.

In her time away from WWE, Lynch has done various acting projects while also keeping busy by raising her daughter Roux, along with her WWE superstar husband, Seth Rollins.

The 7-time WWE Women’s Champion Lynch appeared at the Ultimate Improv Show as the special guest monologist. While appearing on stage, Lynch did mention WWE since it’s WrestleMania season.

“It’s WrestleMania season, isn’t it? I’m not wrestling anymore…maybe one day, but not right now. But my husband is.”

Becky Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins is in one of the biggest WrestleMania 41 matches against Roman Reigns and CM Punk, which is the main event on Saturday, April 19th.

There Are Future Plans For Becky Lynch In Pro Wrestling

To the WWE fans who miss Becky Lynch performing in the ring, Seth Rollins remarked in March that his wife will be back at some point.

“She took a few months off. She did some television projects, and so she’s gearing up to get ready to come back. Don’t know when that’s going to happen just yet, but I mean, she is active, yes. I will not say she is retired. She’s not mentioned anything about retirement. There are future plans for her in professional wrestling.”

There was a report last month that WWE was discussing ideas for Becky Lynch’s return, but there was no timeline given for when that might happen.
