Becky Lynch Wins Gold On Shock WWE Return

Becky Lynch is back.

In the hours before night one of WrestleMania 41 began, Bayley was attacked backstage and ruled out of her match alongside Lyra Valkyria against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Adam Pearce then informed Valkyria that she had 24 hours to find a new partner, while Rodriguez and Morgan pleaded their innocence.

As speculation ran wild about who might step up to take Bayley’s place, one favourite quickly emerged.

On April 20, 2025, The Man came back around.

With Morgan and Rodriguez waiting in the ring, and Valkyria beaming at ringside, Lynch made her entrance to a monster reaction from the packed house in Las Vegas.

Although the champions appeared to be in control for a large stretch, Lynch quickly made her presence felt.

With Morgan trapped in the Dis-Arm-Her, Rodriguez saved the day, only for Valkyria to do the same after Morgan hit the returning star with Oblivion.

Valkyria launched herself outside the ring onto Rodriguez and connected with a DDT as Lynch laid out Morgan with the Man Handle Slam to grab victory.

The Man hadn’t wrestled since losing to Liv Morgan in late May 2024, and just days later, she allowed her contract to expire. However, back in January, it was reported she had signed a new deal, and creative pitches were being made for WrestleMania.

In the lead up to the event, it was noted that Lynch was expected to be physically involved in some capacity, although her exact status remained a well-kept secret.
