Becky Lynch Clarifies What Really Happened At WWE Survivor Series

Becky Lynch tapped out at WWE Survivor Series, but she has offered up an explanation for what you may have seen.

The Women’s WarGames match opened WWE Survivor Series, as the powerhouse babyface team of Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, and Iyo Sky dominated. It may not be a surprise considering everybody on that team was a multi-time Women’s Champion in WWE.

As for the heel side, they were comprised of Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka & Kairi Sane, along with Nia Jax and Lash Legend, and they were joined by Becky Lynch, who isn’t afraid to tell anybody that she is the greatest women’s wrestler of all-time.

AJ Lee won the match for her team when she applied the Widow Maker submission move on Lynch, where she pulled on Lynch’s arm while tying up the rest of her body. Lynch tapped out to give the babyfaces on Team Rhea the win.

Becky Lynch Claims She Didn’t Tap Out At WWE Survivor Series

On social media, Lynch likes to go on these ALL CAPS rants complaining about how unfair things are whenever she loses a match. Some people have compared her rants to how US President Donald Trump sometimes posts on social media. Clearly, Lynch is having fun with it.

In her latest social media post, Becky Lynch claimed she didn’t tap out at all. Lynch claimed she was waving to her teammates and blamed referee Jessika Carr for calling for the bell too early.

I DID NOT TAP, I WAS WAVING AT MY TEAMMATES TO COME OVER BECAUSE I HAD A PLAN TO GET OUT OF THE SUBMISSION HOLD. CARR WAS READY TO CALL THE MATCH!! SHE WAS SMILING! LIKE A SICKO SHE WAS READY! LOOK AT THE FOOTAGE!!!

As a heel character, Lynch is obviously having fun with fans on Twitter by making comments like that. It’s part of the job, after all.
