Becky Lynch And The Rock Comment On Her Next “Young Rock” Appearance

Becky Lynch is back for another appearance on Young Rock as she reprises her role as Cyndi Lauper.

The popular NBC show “Young Rock” chronicles the life and times of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The series covers three different periods in The Rock’s life from his child days as the son of Rocky Johnson to his time as a teenager trying to figure out what he wanted to do with his life.

There are also plenty of scenes covering The Rock’s adult life that saw him go from being a Miami University football player that didn’t make the NFL, so he decided to go into the family business as a pro wrestler. Recently, there have been episodes about The Rock’s time in the Nation of Domination group that saw him turn heel for the first time and eventually take off on his own as a singles star as well.

In an episode of Young Rock that aired earlier in season three, former WWE Raw & Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was portraying music icon Cyndi Lauper as she had a conversation with a young version of The Rock in the early 1980s.

On Twitter, Becky Lynch posted a video of herself getting her hair and makeup done. Lynch commented that she was delighted to be back on the set for Young Rock. That led to a quote tweet from The Rock telling Becky that she’s doing phenomenal work. They did not specify when this episode will air, but PWInsider did report that they were filming their season finale this week in Memphis.
