Becky Lynch Retains Title With Shocking Finish At Evolution 2
Becky Lynch placed the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Lyra Valkyrie and Bayley at Evolution 2.
The Triple Threat match kicked-off the show with high energy and a classic masterpiece.
All three superstars brought their best-self forward at Evolution 2, but only one could walk away as the champion.
Becky Lynch pulled off a last-minute miracle for the victory
The match was power-packed from the beginning till the end. In fact, it was quite difficult to predict who would be the winner of the match based on how it started.
Fans were expecting Bayley or Lyra Valkyria to dethrone The Man, but the Women’s Intercontinental Champion wasn’t going to let that happen.
Each of them attempted multiple pins, and ensured to keep breaking someone else‘s pin. Becky Lynch had to ensure she wasn’t too far away when The Role Model and Valkyria were brawling.
It wasn’t necessary to pin The Man to win the championship. Any superstar pinning any other challenger in the ring or winning via submission would have dethroned Becky Lynch.

Towards the concluding moments of the match, Bayley had Lyra Valkyria‘s shoulders on the mat, and was attempting a pin. This is when ‘The Man’ slid into the ring, backslid over Bayley, and rolled her into a pin.
The ending left both Bayley and Valkyria devastated, but the match showcased the pure technical skills Becky Lynch has gained during her time in the industry.
