Becky Lynch Pins Male Star In Rare WWE Match

In WWE in 2024, the men fight the men and the women fight the women but Becky Lynch has still managed to pick up a win over a male star.

Mixed tag team matches have become an incredibly rare thing in WWE in recent years after the Mixed Match Challenge came to an end but one took place at a recent live event in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Becky Lynch is preparing for a huge shot at the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 40 against Rhea Ripley but before that, she teamed up with Kevin Owens to take on the duo of Grayson Waller and Nia Jax.

To the surprise of very few, Owens and Lynch picked up the win but it was a case of The Man pinning the man as Lynch won the bout by delivering a Manhandle Slam to Waller and then getting the three count on him.

Becky Lynch Has History In WWE Mixed Tag Team Matches

The last time Becky Lynch was part of a WWE mixed tag team match when she teamed with Seth Rollins to face Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans at Extreme Rules in 2019. That match was for both Rollins’ Universal and Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championships and saw the future husband and wife retain their gold.

Incredibly all the way back in 2006 at an independent show in Italy, Becky Lynch – under the name Rebecca Knox – was part of a mixed handicap match where she had a partner to face the man then known as Kevin Steen. WWE fans of course know him better as Lynch’s partner in Lafayette, Kevin Owens.
