Becky Lynch’s Performance Criticized By WWE Hall Of Famer
A two-time WWE Hall of Famer believes Becky Lynch was a better performer before she became a mom.
Becky Lynch is the proud mother of a nearly 5-year-old daughter, Roux, with whom she shares her WWE husband, Seth Rollins.
The couple has spoken about how they bring their daughter on the road to WWE events since the family has a bus, so it’s their way to keep the family together, even when they are on the road.
While Becky Lynch often does heel promos as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion about how she’s the greatest women’s wrestler of all-time, many people would agree with that statement.
Just like anybody else at the top of their profession, there are critics, too. In Lynch’s case, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash had previously made the point that Lynch’s run at the top is over and she was “grasping at desperation,” which is why she used Ozzy Osbourne’s music to get heat at a WWE event in England.
Kevin Nash Believes That Becky Lynch Has Lost Her Edge
On a new episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash continued to make his point that Lynch has lost what made her great, and perhaps being a mom is a reason why.
“My whole thing is this, when Becky got over, Becky got over because f**king [Nia] Jax f**king busted her open, and there was the f**king visual of this pretty, red haired girl, petite nature that was defiant and f**king no sold it, and it was like, f**k yeah, and that’s what made her and then she pushed it, and she f**king got, she got super over.”
As he continued, Nash went on to criticize Becky Lynch’s face and chest slapping with CM Punk on the September 1st episode of Raw.
“And I think what has happened, and this is just my opinion, as is everything else. It’s not that you’re not an idiot if you don’t agree with me, it’s just my opinion that I don’t think that Becky is the same woman she was when she got her f**king nose busted open, as she is now that she’s went term with a child and as a mother of, you lose that edge. You lose the hunger. You’re f**king the person that’s playing that part is no longer that same person.
I’m talking about her as a human being….and one thing about wrestling, man is like, if you f**king push something down somebody’s throat, f**k, man, they’ll regurgitate it, and…when she went violent on Phil (CM Punk) with the f**king smacking, and I felt like Phil was Deborah Winger and she was f**king West Hightower, and he was basically telling sissy to pick up the cigarettes and Urban Cowboy….I mean, he was like it felt so f**king domestic abuse. I don’t think that’s the kind of heat we want.”
Becky Lynch will be teaming up with her husband, Seth Rollins, against CM Punk and his wife, AJ Lee, at WWE Wrestlepalooza on September 20th. It’s not official as of this writing, but it should be soon.
