Becky Lynch Named As Dream Opponent Of Current WWE Champion

Becky Lynch is one of the biggest stars in WWE, having won almost everything there is to win in the company. She even made history on RAW this week as she defeated Maxxine Dupri to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

While she has multiple World Championship reigns to her name, her win this week made her the first-ever two-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Ever since returning from an extended break at WrestleMania 41, Becky has been working with newer talent like Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri to elevate the Women’s Division, and NXT star Izzi Dame recently named her as her dream opponent.

Dame made sure that the first NXT of the year was a memorable one for her. Despite losing to rival Tatum Paxley, she turned the night in her favor and defeated Thea Hail to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Following her big win, she was speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, where she named Becky Lynch as her dream opponent whom she’d like to face at WrestleMania.

This is hard. My mind wants to say Becky Lynch. The girl just like, I feel like she can pull a story out of… I think she would test me so hard on the mic. I would almost like to lead up to this WrestleMania match, just seeing how far, like, bar for bar, we can go at each other. And then I just think that she would just lead the way for me. Like, I think Becky is awesome. She is The Man,” said Dame.

Dame has been rising the ranks in WWE over the last few months, and with Becky continuing to work with newer and younger talent, this match could very well end up becoming a reality soon enough.
