Becky Lynch Details Horrifying Incident After Bus Caught Fire
Becky Lynch and her family were involved in a scary incident involving a fire on their bus.
The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and her husband Seth Rollins usually travel to shows by going on an extravagant bus that allows them to bring their 4-year-old daughter Roux with them.
It’s a unique way to travel to and from WWE shows, and many wrestlers today are doing it because of how convenient it is.
During her very informative interview with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on his “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast, Becky Lynch recalled the night of her 36th birthday when she was on the bus with her husband, Seth Rollins, and their daughter Roux, and a fire started while they were on the road.
“We were driving from Tulsa to Iowa. We were going to drive home that night. It was the middle of the night. It was my birthday, my 36th birthday. I hear, ‘Bang, bang, bang.’ It was Andy [The Driver] going, ‘Get out, there is a fire.’
I had (daughter) Roux on the bus. I wrapped her in a blanket. I run in, I don’t have shoes on. We’re at this Kum & Go. We run into this place, we’re not wearing shoes. I have a little baby. Colby (Seth Rollins) runs in. Nobody is wearing shoes. Everybody is cold. Andy runs in, ‘You got a fire extinguisher?’ The guy swipes a Snickers bar, ‘It’s over there.’ Andy runs out, ‘Zap, zap, zap,’ put outs the fire. That was it. We were safe.
Andy comes back, everyone is white, shellshocked, got a little baby with me. All of us barefoot. The guy goes, ‘You gonna bring my fire extinguisher back?’”
Becky Lynch Insulted WWE Fans In Her Home Country
When WWE SmackDown took place in Dublin, Ireland, Becky Lynch was a surprise guest on the show because it was in her home country. After spending a few minutes talking about how great it was for WWE TV to be in her home country, Lynch turned on the fans by saying that they didn’t deserve the show and they didn’t deserve to see her.
After Lynch ranted for several minutes, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was interrupted by Nia Jax, who attacked Stratton with Lynch. This led to Jade Cargill making the save, and that set up a tag team match for later in the show.
In the main event of SmackDown, Lynch bailed on her partner Jax, who Cargill pinned after a top rope Frog Splash.
Earlier this week on the August 18th edition of WWE Raw, Lynch beat Natalya in a Women’s IC Title match. After the match, Lynch wanted to do more damage, but Nikki Bella made the save and dropped Lynch with the Rack Attack 2.0, which could lead to a Lynch-Bella match soon.
