Is Becky Lynch Really The Greatest Women’s Wrestler Ever?
Two of WWE’s biggest stars have given their thoughts on Becky Lynch.
Since signing with WWE in 2013, Becky Lynch has gone on to become one of the biggest stars in the entire industry while winning a stunning list of major honours along the way. Her run is especially impressive given that she wasn’t deemed to have the same level of potential as the rest of WWE’s Four Horsewomen.
In 2025, Lynch has again found herself in a prominent role on Raw, and she currently holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Bianca Belair and Stephanie Vaquer were asked whether Lynch might be the greatest women’s wrestler of all time.
“She says it, she can back it up, and she actually has the accolades to back it up. With that being said, I will say that we have so much talent on our roster, and we just had the Evolution all-women’s PLE, and there’s so many amazing female wrestlers.
Becky has a lot of accolades to back that up, but I feel like there’s other women on the roster as well that have accolades that can go toe to toe with her, and that’s what’s amazing about our roster.”
For her part, Vaquer took the chance to shine a light on the women’s division as a whole.
“I think it’s difficult because it depends – everyone thinks different. We have an amazing, amazing division, it depends. She’s really, really good. She’s amazing. But, yeah, depends.”
Becky Lynch Preparing For Wrestlepalooza Clash
Up next for Becky Lynch is a clash with AJ Lee and CM Punk alongside her husband, Seth Rollins. The match will be Lee’s first in a decade following her recent return to WWE on the September 5 edition of SmackDown.
The storyline was set into motion after Lynch cost Punk the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash In Paris, making sure Rollins left with the gold in the process.
Elsewhere at the event, Stephanie Vaquer will meet Iyo Sky for the vacant Women’s World Championship. Vaquer had been scheduled to challenge Naomi for the title at Clash In Paris, but the champion was forced to give up the title after announcing her pregnancy.
Bianca Belair remains out of action after breaking her finger at WrestleMania 41.
