Becky Lynch Cheats Her Way To Major WWE Milestone on RAW
Tonight’s special edition of WWE RAW opened with the team of Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY defeating The Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Two more title matches were scheduled for the show tonight, with Bron Breakker set to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
The second match of the night saw Becky Lynch challenge the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Maxxine Dupri, in an attempt to reclaim the title.

The two women put on an excellent show for the fans as Dupri showcased how much she’s grown as a wrestler during the last year. She showed enough grit and determination to deny Becky time and again.
She herself came close to winning the match on a couple of occasions, but both women had the other scouted. Becky even kicked out of the top rope cross body from Dupri, the same maneuver which won Maxxine the title.

Maxxine almost won the match after she had Becky trapped in an ankle lock, but Becky cheated her way to the title. She used the ropes to gain leverage on her pin attempt on Dupri as the referee counted to three, without noticing Becky’s use of the ropes. With this win, she became the first-ever two-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
