Becky Lynch Joining Cast Of Iconic TV Show Franchise

Becky Lynch WWE Women's World Champion

Becky Lynch has been a big part of the WWE Universe and she’s also about to join the Star Trek universe.

During her incredible decade-long run in WWE, Becky Lynch has become one of the greatest women’s wrestlers in the company’s history. Lynch is also one of the biggest names, man or woman, in WWE in this era.

The last time Lynch appeared on WWE TV was in May 2024, so fans may have forgotten just how much ass she can kick in a WWE ring. However, the hardworking mom is busy doing something else too.

On social media, Becky Lynch announced that she will be a part of the “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” series as a member of the bridge crew on a show that will be on the Paramount Plus streaming service.

Star Trek is a successful television and movie franchise that goes back decades with dozens of acclaimed actors linked to the series including William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, and Jeri Ryan. In her video, Lynch ended it with the classic “live long and prosper” phrase that is used in Star Trek and she managed to do the hand gesture as well.

A description of “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” is below.

Starfleet cadets navigate friendships, rivalries, and first loves while training to become officers. They face a new threat endangering the Academy and Federation.

The series is expected to launch at some point in 2026.

Becky Lynch’s WWE Return Appears To Be Imminent

While nothing has been announced officially by WWE, it appears as though Becky Lynch is going to return to the company in the new year when Raw moves to Netflix in January 2025.

At a recent special event held by WWE at Netflix headquarters, some of the wrestlers present included Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, The Miz, Seth Rollins (who is married to Becky Lynch) and Becky Lynch was there as well. In addition to those wrestlers, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and President Nick Khan were there as well.

Becky Lynch’s last WWE contract expired on June 1st, which was just days after losing her final match to Liv Morgan with the Women’s World Title on the line.
