Becky Lynch Reacts To Being Part Of WWE WarGames Match

Becky Lynch had an interesting week that ended with a huge WarGames announcement.

The WWE Women’s WarGames team wasn’t set until the final moments of WWE SmackDown in Denver.

At the end of the show, the babyface team of Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Iyo Sky stood in the ring saying they had a fifth partner. That led to the return of AJ Lee, who returned this past Monday on Raw, and hasn’t wrestled in two months since her return match at Wrestlepalooza in September.

After the Lee announcement, the heel team of Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend attacked the ladies in the ring. Lee ran down to the ring, but she was attacked by her rival, Becky Lynch, at ringside.

When Ripley tried to fight back, Lynch held Ripley’s foot. Jax splashed Ripley against the turnbuckle. Jax hit the Annihilator on Ripley to take her out.

The former Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch, joined the foursome of Asuka, Sky, Jax, and Lash in the ring. Lynch shook hands with Asuka to officially join the team. The fans booed them and that was the end of the show.

In a post on X/Twitter, Becky Lynch excitedly wrote in all caps and called it a great night.

NOW THAT’S A GRAPHIC!!! HAHAHAHA WHAT A GREAT NIGHT FOR THE WWE UNIVERSE BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY ME, THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME AND IT’S NOT ME SAYING IT! EVERYBODY SAYS IT…THE BOSS SAYS IT!!

Becky Lynch also has an undefeated record in WarGames matches, having won in 2022 and 2023.

While the week ended on a great night for Becky Lynch, she also lost the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title to Maxxine Dupri on the November 17th episode of Raw. Dupri’s upset win happened in part because of a returning AJ Lee, which distracted Lynch, and Dupri capitalized to get the win and the title.

In the days after losing the Women’s IC Title, Becky Lynch went on numerous rants on social media complaining about Lee, Dupri, referee Jessika Carr, Raw GM Adam Pearce, and others as the reason why she lost her title.

But at least the week ended well, right?
