Becky Lynch Branded “Backstabbing Liar” As WrestleMania Fall-Out Continues

Becky Lynch

WWE star Becky Lynch isn’t winning any friends.

Becky Lynch made her long-awaited WWE comeback at WrestleMania 41 when she teamed with Lyra Valyria to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Lynch was a late replacement for Bayley, who had been mysteriously attacked backstage ahead of night one.

24 hours later, Lynch and Valkyria lost the championship back to Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan, but that was only part of the story. Following the loss, Lynch attacked Valkyria, leaving the young star stunned.

On the following episode of Raw, Lynch explained her attack and confirmed that she was the one who laid out Bayley. The Man said that her fellow Horsewomen had been attacking her for years, after taking Valkyria to task for teaming with her rival.

An irate Valkyria eventually went after Lynch, who escaped through the crowd.

Lyra Valkyria Vows To Take Out Becky Lynch

In a backstage promo later posted to social media, Valkyria vented her frustration at Lynch and promised to take her out for ruining Bayley’s WrestleMania dream.

“Did you see how quickly she ran away from me in that ring? She actually could not have gotten out of that ring any faster. She’s actually always been like this and I have never noticed because I had stars in my eyes.

She’s always been running her mouth, stepping on people, and then leaving. It took me until now to see it because even as far back as NXT, she told me I was this big hope. She made me feel so great about myself. She just waited until WrestleMania to cash it in and she ruined my dream, she ruined Bayley’s dream.

Bayley, look, if you’re watching this, you don’t have to answer my texts, just know that I am truly truly sorry and at Backlash, i’m going to beat that throat cutting backstabbing liar and i’m gonna do it for both of us.”

It’s been announced that Lyra Valkyira will put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Becky Lynch at Backlash on May 10. Elsewhere on the card, John Cena defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton, and Pat McAfee takes on Gunther.
