Bayley Shares Heartbreaking Text Message Ahead Of WrestleMania

Bayley has shared some private messages with fans.

At WrestleMania 40, Bayley will challenge IYO SKY for the Women’s Championship after winning the Royal Rumble. The match also comes with a significant personal edge after the challenger was attacked and kicked out of Damage CRTL on February 2nd. To add insult to injury, Dakota Kai, who had been out injured, turned her back on the star a month later.

However, things used to be very different. At SummerSlam 2022, the Royal Rumble winner returned from injury flanked by IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, before the group added Asuka and Kairi Sane to their ranks.

In a post on social media, Bayley shared a screenshot of her first conversation with IYO SKY as she looked to form Damage CRTL in 2022.

Bayley: “Hi Io! This is Bayley. I got your number from Dakota (Kai), I hope that’s okay.

I have an idea that I want to pitch (text covered by knife emoji) and it would involve you.

Would you be interested?”

IYO: “Of course!! I’m so interested!!”

Bayley: “Awesome! Maybe I can explain better in person but it would be a…”

Bayley Discusses Mercedes Mone’s AEW Debut

Although she’s closing in on one of the biggest matches of her career, the star recently made sure she was on hand to support one of her closest friends. When Mercedes Mone made her AEW debut, Bayley watched on in the crowd, and as she later explained, it was a moment she just couldn’t miss.

The former NXT star added that Mone makes wrestling special, and she deserves her incredible success. It’s been reported that upon signing her AEW deal, Mone became the highest-paid female wrestler in history.

Fellow WWE Superstars Naomi and Tamina also joined the star to support Mone as she made her debut on Dynamite.
