Bayley Reacts To Fan Complaints About Repetitive Matches

Bayley had some interesting comments for WWE fans who feel like maybe she has wrestled Bianca Belair too many times.

One of the big matches set to take place on the January 12th edition of Smackdown in Lincoln, Nebraska will see Damage CTRL’s Bayley in action against longtime rival Bianca Belair.

It was a match that was set up after Belair confronted Bayley and Damage CTRL on Smackdown New Year’s Revolution in a backstage segment. That argument led to Damage CTRL telling Bayley that she should face Belair in a match since Belair was coming after IYO SKY’s WWE Women’s Title.

Over the past few years, Belair has wrestled Bayley many times and it’s fair to say that Belair has an impressive record in those matchups.

During an episode of Gabby AF, Bayley reacted to fans who are critical of the Damage CTRL leader facing Belair yet again.

“Honestly, I know the fans are laughing at this that we’re doing this match again (between myself & Bianca Belair) and it is hilarious but it’s like, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero had a million matches together because they’re all just classics so of course, they just gotta sit down and relax and enjoy.”

“I don’t know who else I would start my year with, than Bianca Belair. I ended my year with her, I gotta start my year with her. It’s like, we’re married to each other for a while.”

“I think that IYO (SKY) started the year out hot for Damage CTRL. We’re on a winning streak. We’re 1-0 in 2024 so yeah, it’s a little bit of pressure to keep that going as fans know I don’t have the best win-loss record at the moment. But it’s a new year. New year, new me, Bayley A.F. and I’m gonna beat Bianca Belair.”
