Bayley Reflects On “Extreme Struggle” That Comes With WWE Women’s Tag Team Title
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships is vacant once again after the injury to Liv Morgan meant she and Raquel Rodriguez had to relinquish the belts, with Bayley now noting the “extreme struggle” that comes with them.
Bayley and Sasha Banks were the first team to hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship when the company re-introduced the title in early 2019.
Since then their presence on shows has dwindled and the title disappeared for months when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE while still holding the championship in May 2022.
Now the titles are vacant once again after Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan were forced to vacate the title due to an injury to Morgan.
Bayley took to social media to comment on the current situation regarding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and thinks the title has been through a lot but there’s magic waiting to be unlocked with them:
“These titles have been through A LOT. The ones who’ve held them know the pride and sometimes the extreme struggle that comes with them. But we keep fighting for them, we take a stand for them. Through injuries, break ups and hopeful opportunities…..there’s magic in there waiting”

Bayley will have the chance to become a three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion when she teams with IYO SKY as part of the fatal four-way match to crown new champions on the 29th of May edition of Raw. That match will also involve Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, and Raquel Rodriguez and a new partner to replace Morgan.
