Batista Wants WWE To Leave The Door Open For Him
Batista still loves all things pro wrestling and WWE.
In recent weeks, Batista has admitted he won’t be getting back in the ring, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still have a passion for WWE.
The Hollywood star hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Triple H at WrestleMania 35, and that’s exactly the way he wants it. Since then, Batista’s acting career has continued to flourish and he’ll undoubtedly land in the WWE Hall of Fame when the time is right after near-misses in 2020 and 2021.
During an appearance on BuzzFeed Celeb, the star was asked what he’d be doing if he wasn’t an actor and he had no doubt he’d still be with WWE. Furthermore, he said he’d love to work with the company again in the future.
I would still be involved with WWE, I hope. Because I really loved it. It wasn’t that I ever wanted to not be a part of that universe because I love the WWE Universe. It was just that I became so passionate about acting, and I’m still pursuing it with everything I have, but I still love that world.
I have a good relationship with the company. I hope that they would always leave the door open for me because I just love professional wrestling,”

During the same appearance, Batista heaped praise on CM Punk’s skills as an actor, suggesting he has unlimited potential.
The star said he’d love to see Punk take on more acting work, but acknowledged his heart is still in wrestling, and until that changes that’s where he’ll stay.
It’s been announced that Punk will be back in action at Bad Blood where he’ll look to settle his long-running feud with Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell. Punk was last seen being carted into an ambulance on Raw after yet another brutal attack at the hands of McIntyre.
