Baron Corbin Slams Body Shaming Comments

Baron Corbin has fired back at a fan that criticized how he looks with the WWE free agent saying he was “damn proud” of how he looks.

As a veteran WWE superstar that signed with the company in 2012, Baron Corbin knows that wrestling fans are going to say mean things to him. After all, Corbin has been a heel for most of his career (especially on the main roster since 2016) and part of his job is to be mean to the fans.

Whether he’s been Baron Corbin, King Corbin, Happy Corbin or any other version of the character, Corbin is happy being the bad guy.

Currently, Baron Corbin is a “free agent” in WWE storylines after not being drafted to Raw or Smackdown last month. Over the last month, Corbin has appeared on NXT. That has led to him picking up a big win over Ilja Dragunov this past Tuesday on NXT (thanks to some brief interference from Bron Breakker).

Thanks to that win over Dragunov, Corbin has earned an NXT Championship match against the NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes on the Gold Rush special taking place on June 27th.

While appearing in NXT, Corbin has been wrestling in shorts and a tank top. The match with Dragunov saw him wrestle shirtless too, which is something the tattooed big man hasn’t always done. As usual, Corbin has been dealing with unruly fans on social media. A recent reply by Corbin to a fan revealed that the former Money in the Bank winner is proud of his image.

The now-deleted tweet said this.

@BaronCorbinWWE has really let himself go, that wobbly fat on his stomach has got even worse, hit the gym lad!

Baron Corbin replied with this tweet while noting he was damn proud of his image.

I do 5 days a week you pile of s**t

I’ve lost nearly 80 pounds since football

I work harder in the gym and on my diet in a day that you will on anything you do in your whole life.

Damn proud!
