Bad Bunny Wants To Scare His Mother With WWE Return
Bad Bunny wants to return to WWE.
After performing his hit song “Booker T” at the 2021 Royal Rumble, Bad Bunny ended up getting involved in the action, hitting a huge crossbody on The Miz and John Morrison. In the weeks that followed Bunny became a regular on Raw and even won the 24/7 Title before teaming with Damian Priest to beat Miz and Morrison at WrestleMania 37.
The following year he was back in action in the 2022 Royal Rumble match but it was in 2023 where he really made his mark. At Backlash in Puerto Rico, Bunny clashed with Damian Priest in a wild main event that rocked San Juan.
Although the star hasn’t appeared on WWE television since it seems he’s looking for one more match.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone while promoting his new album “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos” Bunny said he wants to wrestle again. Furthermore, he said he wants to put his life on the line as his previous matches have been too safe.
“I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn’t risk it enough in the ring, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother. When? I don’t know. We stay in contact with the people at WWE, we’re always paying attention to what’s going on.
But when, I don’t know. I hope there’s a time where I can really get ready, like I did the last few times. And I’d love to take more time to get ready physically.”
Bunny added that sometimes he wonders what it would be like to quit music and become a wrestler full-time.
But man, just like in music, I do this to get better and to do something different. Sometimes, I say, “I’m going to quit everything and just do wrestling full time. I feel like in wrestling, I just go sporadically as a celebrity. I’m going to go full time and be a heel. That’s what I’d love. [Laughs.] I was always a fan of the villains more than the good guys.”
Bad Bunny Drops WWE Backlash Bombshell
During the same interview, Bad Bunny revealed that Blacklash 2025 will be held in Mexico. It should be noted that there’s been no official comment from WWE or anyone within the company.
In recent years, WWE has taken several shows outside of the United States and North America with Premium Live Events taking place in Wales, Scotland, Germany, Australia, France, and more.
Meanwhile, it’s been announced that the 2026 Royal Rumble will take place in Saudi Arabia. It will be the first time in the event’s history it will be held outside of North America.
