Bad Bunny Lets Slip WWE Backlash 2025 Location

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny has revealed the location for WWE Backlash.

At Backlash 2023, Bad Bunny turned in one of the most impressive celebrity performances ever seen in WWE. In the main event held in his home of Puerto Rico, the Hip Hop star went to war with Damian Priest in a wild Street Fight.

The arena in San Juan shook from the moment the star made his entrance, and the excitement continued throughout until he eventually grabbed the win.

A year later, WWE took the event to France in front of another raucous crowd, and it seems the show will have an international flavour again in 2025.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, Bunny appeared to confirm that Backlash 2025 is going to Mexico.

“What can I tell you? It was nice. We were there until we could bring WWE to Puerto Rico. And man, I actually feel like it was good for them and for everyone, because I saw that last year Backlash was in France, now it’s going to Mexico. They saw that it worked.”

There’s been no official comment from WWE regarding the event.

Bad Bunny Wants WWE Return

During the same interview, the star said he would like to get back in the ring one more time. Bunny said he remains in contact with people from WWE and he’s “always paying attention to what’s going on.”

The ‘Chambea’ star said he wants to risk his life in a WWE ring and feels his previous matches have been too safe. He added that the next time he comes back to wrestling he wants to scare his mother.

During an interview back in May, Damian Priest revealed that he and Bad Bunny pushed for Backlash to be held in Puerto Rico. He added that the pair also made sure the event included Savio Vega and Carlito given their importance to Puerto Rican wrestling.
