Backstage Reaction To WWE Talent Meeting

With the recent seismic shift at the top of WWE rocking wrestling, news has emerged of the reaction from a backstage meeting involving talent, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H.

With the news that Vince McMahon has stepped back from his role as WWE Chairman and CEO making headlines worldwide, focus quickly shifted in the wrestling industry as to what was next for the company.

Stephanie McMahon emerged as the interim Chairwoman and CEO of WWE, a move that took some by surprise given that she had not long begun a leave of absence from her role as Chief Brand Officer. Triple H has since seemingly told those at the Performance Center that he is “back” after he took time away from his duties following heart surgery in 2021.

Ahead of Money In The Bank which took place in Las Vegas on the 2nd of July, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and WWE President Nick Khan addressed Superstars in a company-wide talent meeting.

According to WrestleVotes, the meeting addressed many topics and was well-received by those in attendance. Fightful then reiterated that view with a source adding that the “vibe was positive”:

“According to sources, interim WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon led a company wide talent meeting earlier today at the MGM Grand to address a multitude of topics. Source said the meeting was generally well received.”

Despite stepping back from his official roles, Vince McMahon has not shied away from publicity, appearing on Raw and SmackDown several times since the WWE Board’s investigation into him was revealed.
