Backstage Thoughts On Omos Following WWE Crown Jewel

Omos

A new report has indicated the backstage feeling in WWE towards Omos following his Crown Jewel appearance in Saudi Arabia.

At Crown Jewel, the mighty Omos went one-on-one with The Monster Of All Monsters Braun Strowman in a bout that was billed as a ‘battle of the giants.’

Despite having a considerable size advantage even over the massive Strowman, Omos found himself found on the losing side of things after he was nailed with a running powerslam for the pinfall.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that following the match, several WWE sources are said to have offered praise to Omos for his work and it is said that the star is “making good progress.”

The Nigerian giant made his in-ring debut for WWE in a way like few others have, with a match at WrestleMania. At WrestleMania 37, he teamed with AJ Styles to defeat The New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championship. They lost that title to the team of Randy Orton and Matt Riddle at SummerSlam 2021 and the team split in December of that year.

Following his loss to Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania, Omos has been associated with MVP who turned on Lashley to join the giant star. MVP was absent from Crown Jewel after Strowman took him out with three powerslams on the SmackDown that aired the night before the premium live event.
