Backstage Chaos Erupts After AEW Dynamite
AEW has had a lot of history with backstage chaos in the company and now all hell has broken loose once again after Dynamite.
All Out 2022 was overshadowed by what followed that event as CM Punk lost his temper at the post-show media scrum before Punk was involved in a backstage fight with The Young Bucks that led to several suspensions in the company.
The last straw for Punk in the company came at All In 2023 when CM Punk assaulted Jack Perry backstage before Punk’s match with Samoa Joe. That led to Punk being fired by AEW and ultimately rejoining WWE.
Much more recently, Britt Baker was suspended by AEW after a confrontation between herself and ‘American Champion’ MJF. Baker is believed to have made a comment about the star in the women’s locker room within earshot of MJF’s girlfriend Alicia Atout. The remark made it back to MJF and he confronted the former AEW Women’s World Champion about it.
Now following Dynamite in Winston-Salem, all hell has broken loose backstage again but this time it looks to all be part of the show.
Backstage Brawls Erupt At AEW Dynamite
Following Jeff Jarrett’s hard-fought loss to Bryan Danielson on the show, he was being interviewed by Renee Paquette before he was attacked by Hangman Adam Page. Page tried to fight off Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal who were with Jarrett before officials tried to break up the brawl.
While that was happening Mariah May and Toni Storm burst into view amid their own brutal fight. Mariah May will challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In following her win in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Following that success May immediately turned her back on Storm, revealing her true intentions all along.
While @ReneePaquette was getting comments from @RealJeffJarrett following his Anything Goes match against @bryandanielson on #AEWDynamite, there was an incident involving Jarrett, #HangmanPage, @MariahMayx and #ToniStormpic.twitter.com/aoGKXMGU9O

Mariah May had picked up a victory on the show but was presented with a gift after her match. The gift turned out to be a photo of Toni Storm cradling May in her arms but the back of the picture bore the words “Die Mariah Die.” As May discovered the message, Toni Storm appeared behind her and a brawl broke out between them then.
