Attitude Era WWE Star Rules Out Wrestling Return

Over the years, plenty of WWE stars have returned to the ring after years away but it seems one talent that reached prominence during the Attitude Era won’t be doing the same.

The Attitude Era is best remembered for its wildness with Stone Cold Steve Austin leading a one-man crusade against Vince McMahon. DX had two words for everybody, The Rock was a jewel in The Corporation before truly becoming a People’s Champ while The Undertaker and Kane had to come to terms with their relationship in their own unique ways.

It was a time when wrestling was on fire and even those down the card became well-known stars as a result. One such talent that comes under that description is Kurrgan. A one-time member of the Truth Commission, the giant and unique-looking star came into his own under the guidance of the deviant Jackal before he became part of the beloved Oddities group.

Kurrgan Not Looking For WWE Return

Appearing on Stories with Bradshaw & Briscoe with JBL and Gerald Briscoe, Kurrgan was asked about a possible comeback to the world of wrestling, but it is something he’s not looking to go back to:

I don’t think I want to be wrestling anymore. People ask me, ‘You should go back to wrestling.’ No, that’s alright.

A couple times, I got a call, just to do an appearance. I’ll show up, do autographs, maybe do a chokeslam and that’s it. I don’t have to put my wrestling boots on.

Kurrgan’s 2-year spell in WWE came to an end in 1999 but he spent several years on the independent scene in Canada before eventually hanging up his boots for good in 2011.
