Another WWE Star Set To Undergo Surgery

Another WWE Superstar looks set to miss several weeks of action.

WWE is currently in the midst of a creative reshuffle after Liv Morgan was forced to undergo surgery on a shoulder injury. Morgan suffered the issue in a freak accident on Raw, and despite hopes that she’d quickly be back in action, she hasn’t been that lucky.

The most recent update on the situation confirmed that a planned match between Morgan and Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky at Evolution 2 has been scrapped. In addition, a mixed tag team match involving Morgan and Dominik Mysterio against Finn Balor and Roxanne Perez at SummerSlam has also been dropped.

It’s believed that Morgan will be out of action for around six months.

WWE Star Chad Gable Set To Undergo Surgery

Following the disappointing news on Morgan, it was reported that Chad Gable has also suffered an injury.

At the time, details on the injury were thin on the ground, but a further report has given a troubling update. According to PWInsider, Gable is set to undergo shoulder surgery in early July, and there’s currently no timetable for his return.

Somewhat suspiciously, it’s been noted that El Grande Americano will also be missing for the exact same amount of time. It really does make you wonder.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Gable’s former tag team partner Otis is also out of action, although the reason why remains a mystery. Otis could be missing with an undisclosed injury or personal issue; all that’s known for sure is that he’s currently not listed on WWE’s internal active roster.
