Another Top TNA Star Set To Leave Company

TNA Wrestling could be about to lose another big name.

Several TNA stars have already left the company in recent weeks, and it appears that former World Champion Josh Alexander will be following them out of the door.

Alexander lost an “I Quit” Match to Mike Santana at Genesis and immediately announced he’d quit the promotion. However, in storyline he was ordered to appear on Impact, with subsequent appearances setting up a feud with Eric Young.

But no matter the end result of that skirmish, it appears Alexander won’t be sticking around.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Alexander will become a free agent on February 14th and has already taped his final matches for the company. There’s no word on where the star may land next.

TNA Bosses Decided Stars Were Overpaid

The report comes after claims TNA management felt several stars were overpaid, meaning when their deals came up, they were offered less money. The existing deals were made by former TNA boss Scott D’Amore, who was fired in February 2024.

Although not mentioned in the report, Jordynne Grace recently claimed she cut short her TNA stay because Scott D’Amore was fired. This saw the company cut the final nine months from her contract, allowing her to become a free agent and sign with WWE in January.

Grace made her official debut as a WWE Superstar in the women’s Royal Rumble match, where she lasted over 22 minutes before being eliminated by Giulia. It’s believed her arrival in the Rumble was planned as soon as she became a free agent.
