Another star has moved on from TNA.

On March 7, Alex Hammerstone announced he had left TNA Wrestling and was looking for new opportunities. In a post on social media, the star confirmed he’d wrestled his last match for the company during its February tapings and was looking to the future.

I wrestled my last match for TNA at the February tapings and am no longer under contract with the company. Grateful for the opportunities that came my way and excited for what’s next.

Hammerstone had initially signed with TNA in early 2024 but later suffered a knee injury in December. In a follow-up video, the star hit back at online theories about supposed injuries he’d suffered during his time with the company, revealing he’d been misdiagnosed with a heart issue, which turned out to be pneumonia.

“I got sent home and sent to an actual hospital to get checked. I had pneumonia. My heart and lungs sounded funny because I had pneumonia.”

TNA Star Working Without Contract

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Steph De Lander is working with TNA without a contract. The star has been unable to wrestle since May 2024 after undergoing neck surgery, however, she’s been a regular presence on television since January.

The news on Steph De Lander came after it was confirmed that Josh Alexander is on his way to AEW. The former World Champion finished up with the company in February and was said to be considering a choice between AEW and WWE.

A little over a week earlier, it was confirmed that AEW has officially signed highly rated free agent “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
