Another New WWE Championship Unveiled On Raw
If you’re a fan of championships in wrestling then WWE had good news for you prior to Raw as the company introduced another new title.
WWE recently introduced the new Women’s United States Championship on SmackDown with a tournament currently underway to crown the inaugural champion. That came off the back of NXT introducing a Women’s North American Title earlier in 2024 with Kelani Jordan becoming the first champion by winning a six-way ladder match at Battleground.
Now prior to the 25th of November edition of Raw, the red brand’s General Manager Adam Pearce took to the ring to unveil the latest title in the company – the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Pearce then revealed the belt which is the same in design as the men’s Intercontinental Title except with a white strap. It was noted a tournament will begin next week to determine the first champion but no participants have yet been announced.

What Else Happened On WWE Raw?
The segment featuring Pearce revealing the new title aired on Raw before the main event of Bianca Belair tangling with Bayley to claim the advantage for WarGames at Survivor Series. Belair won the match ensuring her team will have the advantage of being able to fill the ring first.
Jade Cargill was pulled from that match after apparently being thrown onto a car, however, the real reason for Cargill’s absence from Survivor Series has since been revealed.
