Another Major AEW Star Out Injured
Another name has been added to the AEW injury list.
On Dynamite in Peoria, Illinois, commentary announced that Jay White had been attacked backstage by the Death Riders. As a result of the injuries suffered in the assault, he was subsequently pulled out of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
In recent weeks, White has been battling the group alongside Cope and FTR.
Switchblade’s place in the tournament has been taken by new signing Kevin Knight who’ll now face Will Ospreay at Dynasty on April 6.
Following the show, it was reported that Jay White is dealing with a legitimate injury, and will require surgery. Details of the injury are being kept private, but it’s caused “significant creative changes.”

There’s no word on when Cassidy will be back, or whether he requires surgery.
It’s unclear exactly when or how the star suffered the injury, but he hasn’t wrestled since competing in a Four-Way Match against Mike Bailey, Ricochet, and Mark Davis on March 19.
