Another Attitude Era Star Working Backstage In WWE

WWE Attitude Era

A former WWE star is now back with the company.

After several years away from the company, aside from appearing during The Undertaker’s retirement ceremony, Savio Vega made a crowd-pleasing return to WWE at Backlash in 2023.

At the event in Puerto Rico, Vega helped Bad Bunny defeat Damian Priest in a wild main event. Two years later, he was shown ringside at Worlds Collide with Priest once again, but it seems he’s now landed a more permanent role with the company.

During a recent appearance on Ten Count Media with Steve Fall, Vega revealed that he’s now working as a producer with AAA on behalf of WWE.

“Well, yeah, I’m working as an agent with the company, with this project so, all this is gonna be the big move with the company and them. AAA’s gonna become full with WWE. So, let’s see what happens. We go step by step. I can’t say right now, are we gonna do this? Because I don’t know. But hope that I’m in front of the camera in any moment if it’s possible. If not, that’s okay.

I’m happy with being back and working with this talent, which they’re in better shape than me right now (Vega smiled). So, happy, happy to be honest to be part of the company once again and work with this talent.

I’m working for WWE, you know, on this project… I’m gonna be as a producer. Hope something happen (in-ring-wise). Anything could happen. You there, you’re still alive so you’re good for something. So, I believe if it’s there, I’m welcome. Why not?”

The comments come after Konnan claimed The Undertaker will be working in creative after working backstage at Worlds Collide.

WWE Interested In AAA Star

As the relationship between AAA and WWE continues to grow ever stronger, it’s been reported that the sports entertainment giant is interested in working with Psycho Clown.

According to the report, there’s a growing desire to move the AAA star to the main roster as the company is “intrigued by his character and the marketing abilities” he presents.

A different report had earlier reiterated claims that WWE has no desire to work with Alberto El Patron, better known as Alberto Del Rio.
