Announce Team Named For Brand New WWE Show

WWE have named their announce team for the brand new upcoming show Evolve.

The hotly anticipated new show is set to debut on March 5th and is being headed up by former ROH booker and EVOLVE founder Gabe Sapolsky.

WWE Evolve is set to replace NXT Level Up, which had originally replaced 205 Live in 2002, after the company announced the end of the show back in December.

WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, Shawn Michaels has announced that Peter Rosenberg will serve as the play by play announcer for the show, which will air exclusively on Tubi in the United States and on YouTube in international markets.

Rosenberg took to social media to share his excitement at his new role, before revealing that NXT Assistant General Manager Robert Stone will join him at the announce booth:

“I have wanted to do play by play my whole life and I am so so excited to be the voice of @WWE Evolve alongside my man @MrStoneWWE wrestling fans are going to love this show…First episode airs Wednesday night at 8 pm on @Tubi !!!

WWE Newcomer Gives Up Title

WWE newcomer Ricky Saints has relinquished the DEFY World Championship.

The former AEW star, previously known as Ricky Starks, made his shock debut during the 11th February edition of NXT.

The 34 year-old’s WWE arrival came just four days after he defeated KENTA to capture World Championship gold at DEFY Hundredth in Seattle, Washington, with Saints himself announcing that a new Champion would be crowned at DEFY Aftermath on 15th March.
