Andrade’s First Appearance Announced After Controversial WWE Exit
Andrade’s first appearance since his release from WWE has been confirmed.
On September 13th, wrestling fans were stunned when it was reported that Andrade had abruptly left WWE after being moved to the alumni section on the company’s website.
As noted in the hours after his exit was confirmed, the star’s departure wasn’t mutual, and it’s believed that he hadn’t requested his release. Instead, the company had decided to let him go. This was followed by a report that suggested Andrade had clashed with WWE over creative as far back as his return to the company in January 2024.
Andrade initially signed with WWE in 2015 and went on to become NXT Champion. However, he grew increasingly frustrated and requested his release in 2021. Although that request was initially denied, he was ultimately let go.
That June, the star signed with AEW but left in late 2023 to make his way back to WWE, which is now under the creative guidance of Triple H. It later emerged that Andrade was escorted out of a SmackDown taping, and his release was down to an undisclosed disciplinary matter.
Andrade Returning To Mexico
Now, following his abrupt exit, Andrade has been announced for his first post-WWE show as he will be part of The Crash Lucha Libre’s October 3rd show at Municipal Auditorium Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Mexico.
