And New!! WWE RAW Kicks Off With A Bang As Major Title Changes Hands
Tonight’s episode of WWE celebrated the promotion’s first anniversary with Netflix with a special Stranger Things-themed edition of Monday Night RAW.
The show had announced multiple amazing matches, including a total of three title matches, headlined by CM Punk’s defense of the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker.
The first RAW of the year began with the team of Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY challenging the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The faces took control of the match early on as Rhea Ripley wiped out the Kabuki Warriors with a cannonball from the apron to the outside. She then went on to dominate the match before Kairi and Asuka worked together to overpower her.
The Kabuki Warriors did the same when IYO looked to take the advantage and left her stranded on the top rope. Asuka capitalized on IYO’s predicament and hit a double stomp on her back for a two count.

Asuka and IYO were about to win the match after Ripley had hit the Riptide on Sane, and IYO was going for the Over-the-moonsault, but was interrupted by Asuka, who pushed Rhea into her partner.
The match ultimately came to an end after Rhea and IYO hit the combination of their finishers on Asuka and SKY then took Kairi Sane out with a suicide dive. This allowed Ripley to go for the pin and they were crowned the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
