All Confirmed Results From ROH Final Battle 2025
The 24th edition of ROH’s Final Battle took place tonight at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. The event was packed with several huge matches as seven titles were being defended on the show.
The entire match card had twelve matches in total, out of which three took place on the pre-show, while the rest of them occurred during the final show. In one of the marquee matches from tonight, Bandido defended his ROH World Championship in a Survival of the Fittest Match, while Mercedes Mone was handed a rare loss.
It seems like the CEO’s descent has finally begun tonight as she lost the first of her 14 Championships tonight as Red Velvet won back her ROH Women’s World Television Championship.
In the three matches that took place on the pre-show, Ace Austin defeated Lee Johnson, Leila Grey defeated Zayda Steel, and Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders defeated the Grizzled Young Veterans. The rest of the matches that took place on the main show were as follows.
Deonna Purrazzo defeated Billie Starkz for the ROH Women’s Pure Championship
Both Deonna Purrazzo and Billie Starkz competed for the newly introduced championship under the Pure Wrestling rules. The two wrestlers reached the finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural winner of the belt, and they both overcame some tough competitors. Tonight, Purrazzo took control of most of the match and always seemed to be in control despite Starkz’s attempts to subdue the wrestler. She targeted Starz via various submission moves and ultimately got the win via an armbar to win her first championship in either of Tony Khan’s promotions.
Lee Moriaty defeats Nigel McGuiness in a 30-minute Iron Man match
Both wrestlers walked into the match with something to prove on either side. The match was being fought under the regular rules and not the special ones ekdum se. Moriarty relied on speed and experience to take some early falls in the match as McGuiness used his experience to even the score.
As the 30-minute match went into overtime, Moriarty took a place in the match and capitalized on a small opening. He trapped Nigel McGuiness long enough and gave his classic Pure Wrestling title to finish, acknowledging his rise to the top of the division.
Red Velvet defeats Mercedes Mone for the ROH Women’s World Television Championship
Mercedes Mone headed into the match as the favorite to walk out of the bout as champion. She began the match dominantly and restricted Red Velvet to only defensive counters. However, Velvet kept fighting back, and she started meeting Mone toe-to-toe.

It seemed like Mone would be heading for a routine win as she put Velvet in the Statement Maker. However, Red Velvet showed good presence of mind and used her feet to push herself over the top for a counter pin. Red Velvet counted till three, and Mone lost the first of his 13 World Titles.
Sammy Guevara and Beast Mortos defeated Tommy Billington and Adam Priest to win the ROH World Tag Team Championships
Sammy Guevara recently won the ROH World Tag Team Championships alongside RUSH, but had to drop them once again after his injury. Tonight, he teamed with the Beast Mortos to win the Championship gold once again and become a three-time ROH World Tag Team Champion, once each with RUSH, Dustin Rhodes, and the Beast Mortos.
Sammy won the title controversially as he struck Billington with a low blow, which allowed Beast Mortos to capitalize on the situation. He hit a discus lariat on Billington and then proceeded to jump from the top rope for a corkscrew moonsault for the win and sealed the titles.
Eddie Kingston defeats Josh Woods
Eddie Kingston and Josh Woods battled in a match defined by physicality and grit. Woods focused heavily on his submission background, repeatedly targeting Kingston’s arm and neck in an effort to wear him down. Kingston, though clearly affected by the punishment, refused to stay down and relied on his trademark toughness to withstand the holds.
As the match reached its climax, Woods attempted one submission too many. Kingston powered out, caught a moment of hesitation, and drilled Woods with a devastating DDT to pick up the win. It was a classic Kingston performance, which got the fans on their feet and behind the former AEW Continental Champion.
Shane Taylor Promotions defeat SkyFlight for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships
The bout started with a huge brawl between all six participants of the match. After the dust settled on the initial brawl, the match saw some amazing high-flying action and featured many wild and exciting moments throughout the show, and it seemed like SkyFlight would leave the venue as champions.
However, in a battle between brute power and high-flying maneuvers, the night belonged to brute force tonight as Shane Taylor Promotions’ heavy strikes and methodical teamwork led them to victory, as a final blow from Taylor helped them retain the championships.
Ricochet defeats Dalton Castle for the AEW National Championship
Ricochet challenged Dalton Castle tonight, and the duo delivered one of the most dynamic matches of the night as the One and Only retained his AEW National Championship. Castle brought his trademark eccentricity and surprising power, repeatedly attempting to set up the Bangarang.
Ricochet, however, had an answer for everything he threw at the former Prince Puma as he countered nearly every attempt with his lightning-fast reflexes. After avoiding a late Bangarang attempt, Ricochet struck instantly with the Spirit Gun, dropping Castle long enough for a decisive three-count to retain his newly won AEW National Championship.
Bandido won Survival of the Fittest to retain his ROH World Championship
ROH World Champion Bandido retained his title in the Survival of the Fittest match against the likes of Blake Christian, Hechicero, Komander, and the World Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos, who were pulling double duty tonight. However, it didn’t take long for them to leave the match as both Sammy and Mortos were the first two to be eliminated from the match.

The next person eliminated was Komander after being hit by a Lethal Injection for Blake Christian. He would be the next person to be eliminated from the match after Bandido hit him with a Mexican Destroyer, leaving only him and Hechicero in the match. The ROH World Champion would then retain his title over the Don Callis Family member by hitting a posion-rana into a roll up.
Athena defeats Persephone for the ROH Women’s World Championship
Persephone challenged Athena for the ROH Women’s World Championship and proved to be a competitive challenger for Athena. She put in an amazing performance against the champion and pushed her to her limits throughout the match. Both women achieved multiple near-falls as the match progressed before Athena walked out with the win.

Persephone climbed up the turnbuckle to hit a moonsault, but Athena quickly made her way up and hit an avalanche German Suplex on the challenger. She took advantage of her position and then hit the O-Face stunner on Persephone to retain her title and celebrated her win alongside Billie Starkz and Diamante.
