Alexa Bliss Among Two WWE Money In The Bank Qualifiers, More Matches Announced
There were two WWE Money in the Bank qualifiers on SmackDown, and Alexa Bliss was one of the big winners.
The next WWE main roster PLE is Money in the Bank from Los Angeles on Saturday, June 7. Two of the big matches on that show will be the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, which will have six wrestlers in each match.
Whoever wins the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase will get to cash in on any champion they want over the next year.
On WWE SmackDown in Greensboro, Alexa Bliss won a triple threat match with Chelsea Green and Michin to earn her spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. Bliss won after hitting Sister Abigail DDT on Green.
Alexa Bliss knows what it takes to win Money in the Bank since she won it in 2018 and became a Women’s Champion later that night. Bliss is a five-time WWE Women’s Champion and is looking to get back to championship gold via the Money in the Bank briefcase.
In the Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match, Solo Sikoa won over his brother Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix. Solo got some help from his friends at ringside, but he was able to win with a Samoan Spike.
Charlotte Flair Set For WWE Women’s Money In The Bank Qualifying Match
There will be two more WWE Money in the Bank qualifying matches on next week’s May 23rd edition of Smackdown.
The Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match will be Aleister Black vs. LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.
For the women, 14-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will face newcomer Giulia and US Women’s Champion Zelina Vega.
There was also a segment on SmackDown where Alexa Bliss spoke to Charlotte Flair about being friends as they had been in the past, but the cocky Flair refused and didn’t seem interested in gaining a new ally.
Money in the Bank qualifying matches will also continue on Raw, but no specific matches have been announced yet.
