Alexa Bliss Could Take Charlotte Flair Down A Darker Path
Could the alliance between Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair have a dark twist?
At SummerSlam, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss beat Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Such a victory would have seemed impossible just a few short months ago, but WWE’s latest odd couple is now closer than ever.
In the weeks after WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair had lost her way, but Alexa Bliss offered her a different path and a new direction. Although Flair initially tried to keep her distance, the more the pair teamed together, the better they gelled and the more successful they were, all leading to SummerSlam.
During an interview with the New York Post ahead of the event, Bliss wouldn’t rule out taking Flair over to the dark side. The star said that taking Flair into the Wyatt Sicks could be a lot of fun.
“If that (teaming with Flair) ever brought me to the Wyatt Sicks or maybe Charlotte to the Wyatt Sicks, we don’t know. We are seeing a new side of Charlotte, who knows where it goes. I think that would be a lot of fun. I’m open to every avenue when it comes to creative because I love testing myself in different avenues and different journeys.”
Charlotte Flair Needed Alexa Bliss’ Partnership
In the hours after their victory at SummerSlam, Charlotte Flair admitted that her partnership with Alexa Bliss wasn’t something she wanted or expected, but it was exactly what she needed.
Flair went on to claim that winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Bliss was one of the top three moments of her entire career. She reiterated that their success was a total surprise after fearing that she might miss SummerSlam following a string of defeats.
The victory marked Flair’s first championship win since 2023, and Bliss’s first since 2022.
