How Alexa Bliss’ Husband Reacted To Bumping In A WWE Ring

Alexa Bliss Husband Ryan Cabrera

Pro wrestling isn’t for everybody, especially Alexa Bliss’ husband Ryan Cabrera.

As a five-time WWE Women’s Champion and a current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss has had an impressive career that will likely see her end up in the WWE Hall of Fame.

The 34-year-old Bliss isn’t known for being a powerful women’s wrestler because she’s only 5’1″ tall, yet she’s more than capable when the bell rings and it’s time to entertain the fans.

Outside the ring, Bliss has been married to singer Ryan Cabrera since April 2022. The couple is staying busy as parents to a daughter who was born in December 2023.

While speaking on The Masked Man Show, Alexa Bliss revealed that her husband Ryan has tried bumping in a WWE ring, but he didn’t like it at all.

“My husband was like, ‘I didn’t know all this went into it.’ I got him in the ring once. Fit Finlay taught him how to bump. I gave him a tackle. He did not like that. Don’t worry, I have it on video.

He took like an epsom salt bath for two weeks after that. He goes, ‘I don’t know how you do this. I respected what you do before, but now, this is a lot. You shouldn’t do this.’ [Laughs]. I’m used to it.” (H/T Fightful)

Alexa Bliss Knows It’s Important To Reinvent Yourself In WWE

During her WWE career so far, Alexa Bliss has been in a lot of different roles. She has been a cocky heel champion, an underdog babyface, an adult woman obsessed with a doll named Lilly, and a demonic-like character associated with Bray Wyatt.

It’s not easy to portray such diverse characters, but Alexa Bliss recently emphasized the importance of reinventing yourself.

“I’ve been signed to WWE for over 13 years, on the main roster almost 10. Time flies so quick, it’s so crazy. I look back, and I’ve been so many different versions of this character, but each one kinda served its purpose for that time period. For me, it was always evolving, it’s hard as a woman in the company to evolve your character and to keep getting booked in spots for matches.”

“I think, for me, if I can keep recreating myself, then there’s more opportunity to have storylines with more people on the roster, especially now with so many women coming up. We have literally every type of woman on the roster now, and it’s awesome.”

On WWE SmackDown in Montreal, Alexa Bliss was gifted a new Lilly doll, and a Charlie doll, by Charlotte Flair for Alexa’s birthday. Later in the show, Bliss was ringside as Flair picked up a big win over Chelsea Green, who ended up face-first in Alexa’s birthday cake.
