Alexa Bliss Clarifies Health Status Amid WWE Fans’ Concern
Alexa Bliss has reacted to some off-putting comments from WWE fans.
The tag team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to the Kabuki Warriors duo of Asuka and Kairi Sane on the November 10th edition of Raw.
It wasn’t a clean loss for Flair and Bliss, as Nia Jax and Lash Legend interfered in the match, costing the veterans their titles.
As the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Flair and Bliss took on all comers while defending the titles on all three WWE brands – Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. They also bonded as a team because after wearing shirts that said, “We’re not friends,” it is pretty evident that the pair are definitely friends now.
During some of her most recent appearances, some WWE fans have harshly called the 34-year-old Bliss “old” because of how she looks compared to the past. The 5-time WWE Women’s Champion Bliss had a lot of success in her WWE career in her mid-to-late 20s, then took time off to have a daughter and returned to WWE to continue her career, which will see her end up in the WWE Hall of Fame one day.
In response to the critics, Alexa Bliss explained why her busy life perhaps has taken a toll on her appearance.
“I’ve seen the tweets – and all I can say is Having only 1 full day at Home a week with our non-stop schedule & being a full-time mom & constantly fighting exhaustion – will definitely take a toll on my appearance.”
Alexa Bliss Wants To Keep Evolving As A WWE Superstar
At WWE Survivor Series WarGames, Alexa Bliss will be in the Women’s WarGames match with Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, and a partner against Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and likely Becky Lynch. That could mean the babyface woman’s partner is Maxxine Dupri, unless they go in another direction.
While discussing her WWE career so far, Alexa Bliss emphasized the importance of evolving as a character in WWE.
“I’ve been signed to WWE for over 13 years, on the main roster almost 10. Time flies so quick, it’s so crazy. I look back, and I’ve been so many different versions of this character, but each one kinda served its purpose for that time period. For me, it was always evolving, it’s hard as a woman in the company to evolve your character and to keep getting booked in spots for matches.
I think, for me, if I can keep recreating myself, then there’s more opportunity to have storylines with more people on the roster, especially now with so many women coming up. We have literally every type of woman on the roster now, and it’s awesome.”
