Alexa Bliss Falls Short on WWE SmackDown After Outside Interference

WWE had announced three major title matches for tonight’s SmackDown before the show began, and the first of those saw a recently crowned champion defend her title.

Giulia defeated Cheslea Green to become the Women’s United States Champion last week and was already defending her title tonight in Berlin against Alexa Bliss.

Bliss took on Giulia in the ring, but was already at a disadvantage before the match even began, as she didn’t have Charlotte Flair by her side while Giulia had Kiana James in her corner.

The match went how many would’ve expected as Kiana James played a role in the finish. Alexa seemed set to win the title by hitting a Sister Abigail on the champion but Kiana distracted her.

She took out the former WWE NXT star and headed to the top rope to hit a Twisted Bliss, but was instead pushed off the rope by Lash Legend as the referee was occupited with James.

Giulia used that to her advantage and hit the Northern Lights Bomb on Bliss to get the win, before leaving Bliss in the ring to be taken out by both Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
