Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair’s Alliance Fail At WWE Evolution 2
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair entered WWE Evolution 2 as one of the most unlikely alliances in recent WWE history.
Despite their rocky past, including a one-sided rivalry where Flair once dominated Bliss, the two former champions found themselves united in pursuit of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Their chemistry surprised fans in the weeks leading up to the premium live event, and many believed the newly formed pair could shock the division. However, when the lights were brightest, they came up short.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair Fail To Win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
The match was a chaotic fatal four-way with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defending their titles against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, The Kabuki Warriors, and the high-flying team of Sol Ruca and Zaria. With only two women legal in the ring at any time, the action was nonstop.
Early on, Bliss showed flashes of brilliance with a knee drop and a senton on Perez. The Queen eventually entered to a thunderous reaction, unleashing signature chops and a flurry of offense. She delivered a huge crossbody from the top rope and even cleared the apron with calculated strikes. Later, Flair speared Perez and nearly scored a three-count before Raquel broke it up.
In the final stretch, Zaria accidentally speared her own partner, Sol Ruca, which gave Bliss a chance to capitalize. Bliss looked for Sister Abigail but couldn’t execute. Flair tried to regain control, but Perez tagged herself in and dropped Charlotte Flair with Pop Rox. Moments later, Raquel powerbombed Bliss onto a crowd of bodies outside the ring and then pinned Sol after a Tejana Bomb to retain the titles.

Despite the loss, Bliss and Flair looked surprisingly in sync throughout the match. They protected each other in key moments and shared a strong offensive showing. While the gold slipped through their fingers, their performance didn’t go unnoticed.
This partnership might not have won gold at Evolution 2, but it laid the groundwork for a more serious run in the tag division. With time and experience as a team, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair could emerge as top contenders again and perhaps finally secure the titles in the future that they narrowly missed out on in Atlanta.
