Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair Defend Title On WWE Raw

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair didn’t have much time to celebrate their SummerSlam success as they put their gold on the line on WWE Raw.

At SummerSlam, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defeated Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bliss and Flair have been an odd couple team in recent weeks, with Bliss trying to win The Queen’s friendship, and once they found in-ring success, it looked like it was achieved.

On the August 4th edition of Raw, Flair and Bliss appeared to celebrate their win, with Bliss again urging Flair to admit they were now friends, but Flair just couldn’t bring herself to do it. The pair were soon interrupted by Rodriguez and Perez, who noted they didn’t get a rematch, but they wanted one. Flair immediately accepted, saying they could have that match right then.

Alexa Bliss Picks Up Win To Keep Title

The end of the bout saw Alexa Bliss nail Roxanne Perez with Sister Abigail after Charlotte Flair had sent Raquel Rodriguez from the ring to pick up the win and retain the championship.

WWE Raw also saw Seth Rollins find out his first challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship as he was punished for his lies over his apparent serious knee injury.
