Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair Retain, WWE RAW Ends In Chaos
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair fell victim to a surprise attack despite retaining their title on WWE RAW.
The Twisted Queens have held the Women’s Tag Team Championship since SummerSlam, when they defeated The Judgment Day. Over the past two months, they have defended the title against several challengers.
Tonight on RAW, The Queen and The Goddess put their championship on the line against the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Ahead of the match, Asuka confronted Valkyria backstage, claiming she and Kairi Sane should have been in the title match tonight. The Empress also interrupted Bliss and Flair’s backstage interview before the highly anticipated clash to tell them the same. She added that Bayley and Valkyria did not deserve the title, and neither did the current champions.
The Queen responded to Asuka, referencing their history and highlighting that she had beaten The Empress several times. However, she admitted she had changed and that she and her partner would be honored to face The Kabuki Warriors.
The Kabuki Warriors Attack The Champions On WWE RAW
After a fierce battle between Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria over the Women’s Tag Team Championship in the main event of RAW, The Twisted Queens came out victorious.
However, The Kabuki Warriors shockingly launched a surprise attack on the champions following the match. Asuka also took out Valkyria with a superkick as she came back into the ring.
After brutally destroying Bliss and Flair, The Kabuki Warriors turned their attention to Valkyria. Nevertheless, Bayley quickly returned to the ring to save her partner. Asuka and Kairi Sane then decided to retreat instead of going after The Role Model.
