AJ Styles’ Next WWE Match Will Be His Last, Says Ex-Champion
A popular WWE star has predicted that AJ Styles’ next match will be his last.
Styles is currently one-half of the tag team champions on RAW with Dragon Lee. They won the titles by defeating The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on the October 20 episode of the red brand.
On the latest taping, General Manager Adam Pearce announced that the tag team titles would be defended next Monday against The New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
Woods, who is a former 12-time tag team champion across RAW and SmackDown, recently posted a video on X while exercising with a skipping rope.
In the caption, he urged his followers to watch the upcoming episode, claiming it would be AJ Styles’ last.

WWE Blocking TNA Match With AJ Styles
At TNA’s Bound for Glory, Mike Santana defeated WWE NXT’s Trick Williams to win the TNA World Championship for the first time.
After the title win, he reiterated his desire to wrestle AJ Styles in a singles match in TNA.
Styles addressed Santana’s comments during an appearance on No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, claiming that WWE would not allow it because of the possibility of it becoming a norm.
I get it, man. I really do. I was hoping that this would happen, I really was but then I realized it probably never could as far as WWE letting me do that. I’ll tell you why. As soon as I open those gates for the main roster talent, now everyone is going to want to do it. I don’t know if it’s going to happen, if I’m being honest. I’d like to, don’t get me wrong. What a moment it was when I was able to go back, but I just don’t see that match — I don’t see any match happening as of right now.
